Selling iPods on eBay

I read somewhere that ending it at 4 on friday was the best time.

Definitely, I sold my scratched up ipod video 30gb black on ebay for $285 shipped. It even had 2 dents on the back. Of course I said all of that in my description.

It also didn't include the earphones.

I've read that it's good to end the auction on Sunday night, as you mentioned. If you have a 7 day auction that starts on a Sunday evening, I think you should do well. My guess is ~$295

Personally, I think it depends on what you are selling.
I've sold a bunch of mystery/suspense novells that all the Homemaker women love, so I try to end my auction right after lunch time, when I know the kids are at school. ;)

I've sold a few video games on ebay and always get more money during the week in the afternoon sometime. You should watch prices for a week before you post yours and also check to see if anyone else has recently posted one. If they have wait a while, better to be the only one up so people fight for it )

You may be a little less lucky than the others who have posted... prices went really high during christmas, but have come down a bit.

For non-business items Sunday night around 7 o'clock pacific is the best time to sell stuff.
