Okay so i bought air intake off of ebay about 2 months ago. And I got it and my friend isn't sure if it's going to work.
Why? he says because of that square opening in the shaft.

Alot of times there are sensors that plug into that. Like an airflow sensor or something long those lines.

Haha...No guru's needed here...but i've rebuilt engines and all and dealt with something of the sort. It is indeed for your airflow sensor. The size of that hole is a bit ridiculous but check out your old airn intake and there might be something more then just the airflow sensor itself to stick on there...You might have to take off some squarish piece off old and put on new!! nonetheless sexy!!

nice part, most likely ur sensor wont fit on that, might have a fitting piece for the square that holds the sensor.
