Knockoff Sony Cameras

OMG this is crazy. So my roommate and I were walking through the streets of Downtown LA on Saturday night and like always the street was filled with peddlers and bootleggers. Anywho we came up to this one guy who was selling a Sony Digital Camcorder. It looked really good and real. He had it on demonstrating it to the circle of people around him and my roommate got out his wallet. The guy wanted 100.00 for it. He was seriously about to buy it. I kept telling him not to because I just didn't trust the guy. After about 2 or 3 minutes of persuading he decided not to buy it.
Heres the deal, tonight we were watching the 1000 news. (we never watch the news) and they said something about knock off cameras. We made a joke about the camera I persuaded him to buy. We kept watching and sure ironically it was the same guy! What! I was going nuts. He was doing the same thing to other people. Officials seized tons of knockoff cameras from a warehouse where they were placing fake Sony logos and stickers on. Everything looked real. Get this, when the news guy examined it, it was playing but the lens cap was on! lol Thats because the lens was not real. Now they have the guy going to court. He has sold more than 300 at 100 a pop. It is believed that he is doing the same thing on eBay. You guys better watch out!

Wait... you're not tryin to tell me that Rolex and pair of Oakleys I bought off that guy in NYC are fake are you? He assured me they were only $10 a piece because he gets good bulk discounts!
