So did anyone see the previews for Mission Impossible III during the Superbowl?

I'm sure it will be good as the other 2 are great.

Yeah, as long as he sticks to acting, and staying away from the real world, I'll be able to sleep at night.

You don't have to worry about Tom Cruise being in the real world. He's waaay off in his own little fantasy world at this point.

And MI2 sucked, so I might watch this if it comes on TV one day and I'm bored.

MI 3 looks like a big question mark to me,

I don't know what kind of movie we are going to get here. Is it the slow, turning espionage thriller the first one was? or the gadget infested explodathon of number two.

Superman I imagine will be better than all but I dont care to see it. I hate superman as far as this genre goes.

Well, they already fucked up by putting Audrey Tatou in it instead of Julie Delpy, just because she'd draw a bigger crowd in the states.

I dont think thats why they put her in it, I guarantee you 90% of america has no idea who audrey tatou is

plus I dunno but she seems to look the part, when I imagine sophie I picture someone looking kinda like her.

Now i've never actually seen all of any of her movies so she may be a shitty actress, I think its a spot on casting job there though.

I'll see MI3 but those other 3 are what I'll be in line for opening night. Especially X3...

If you saw any of her movies (or just listen to her voice), you'd understand what I mean. Isn't Sophie supposed to be an intelligent scholarly woman? And like Wolfeman said, she will draw more people because Amelie did well here. And if you also saw any movies with Julie Delpy, you'd understand even more what I mean. IMHO.

Famke Janssen is fucking hot. Hopefully we can all agree on that.

MIIII will be good, it's predecesors were great action flicks which is all this will be, don't expect more and you'll enjoy it.

I don't like the idea of Tom Hanks as Langdon, but I'm sure he'll do a good job at the roll, it's just not how I pictured Robert Langdon. And most of america does not know who Audrey Tatou is, but they will after this movie.

I personally think his first Langdon book "Angels & Demons" was a better book and would love to see that as a movie. Anyone read "Digital Fortress"?

Colosus, Shadowcat, Archangel, Juggernaut, and Psylocke are all new or have bigger roles...

I think it's going to be good, however I can't wait for Final Destination 3...

Final Destination 3? The first one was ok at best #2 was lame...

I saw some spoilers on X3, I wont go into the details, but they were very detailed on major plot and story lines. They were filled with errors, and their valdity is obviously questionable. Some of the stuff they said seems to make perfect sense however other stuff(like a mention of Colossus being a bi-sexual and some love triangle with wolverine and rouge just seems totally out of left field).

I read alot of major characters get the axe too

some I just can't bring myself to believe, the spoilers I saw might very well be BS.

and as far as amilie yes some people saw it, I saw part of it, I don't think a large majority of the US did, and especially not a large enough portion to be able to say she will draw an audience in the US. Especially for this movie, they could cast anyone they want to and people will see it, it just won't need much hype to be good.

Plus you can't judge what kind of job she will do based on prior roles, they are just that roles. So I will give Howard the benifit of the doubt for now.

So many spoliers turn out to be crap. X1 was just ok but X2 was fucking awesome...

Nah...I was thinking more along the lines of Liam Neeson.

Eh...I don't think it would really matter...besides, I always thought of Tom Hanks as having an annoying voice while Liam's is smoother and he sounds more intelligent.

I thought the first mission impossible was excellent. The second was more action than anything else but still a great movie. I'm just excited to see the series continue.

X3 should be sweet as well. Always been a Marvel fan.
