Does anyone know if the Best Buy warranty for laptops covers liquid or water damage? ha ha ... yeah... (scratches head) i know....

ummm.. no somehow I don't think so.
I believe you should call BestBuy and ask them.
Usually no, and I know cell phones at least have something that lets the tech support know if its been submerged in water, cuz it violates warrenty.

this warranty is the one that you buy on top of the computer, its like an added best buy warranty, they said when i bought it that it was "no questions asked" but i figured they were lying because they always do

best buy has 2 warrantys on laptops. Standard extended warranty and "accidental damage" warranty. The standard wont cover it but the accidental will cover pretty much anything you do to it as long as its not "intentional". Accidental coverage has only been around for 2 or 3 months so if your laptop is older than that your definetly SOL. sorry -(

Those are small water-reactive stickers that change color when submersed. I'm not sure laptops have that, but if I were a manufacturer, I'd put them in there.
