I have a video on my computer that is supossed to be widescreen, but its shaped like a fullscreen, making it skewed. (everything is longer/taller than it should be) Does anyone know a way i can add black bars to the top and the bottom and make it look like a normal, widescreen video?

What media player are you using to display the video? You might have it on the 43 ratio for playback, which is why it's trying to stretch it to fit the screen. Try finding a setting that lets you choose whether this video is fullscreen (43) or widescreen (169)

Oh boy, I hope I can figure this out.
Thanks a lot, guys.
Oh, and btw, I'm using Windows Media Player, but I also have Real and Quicktime.
And just out of curiousity, if i wasnt using it on my ipod, would there be a way to add bars?

Ipod and/or being able to watch it on the computer without it being skewed.

Where did you get the video that it was in the wrong ratio?

I dunno, my brother downloaded it. The video seems alright but whoever did it was stupid and made it the shape of a fullscreen.
