Is there anyway to get certain numbers blocked by verizon so they stop calling my phone?

I'm pretty sure that's an option on mosts phones. i don't know about through Verizon, but check your phone settings.
For T-mobile you have to call in and give them the number you'd like to block. I did it for a couple of semi-stalkers and the message they hear is "We're sorry, but at the subscribers request, this call cannot be completed."
I'm almost sure you have to call Verizon and request the number to be blocked.

i had a motorola v265 which allowed certain numbers that weren't in your contact list blocked, but I got the VX7000 which doesn't offer that. It depends on your phone not your service, but if the opitoin is availble it will be somewhere in the security menu.

I had a problem with someone calling me and I called and asked if I could have a number blocked. They said they couldn't block a number from calling someone. They just suggested changing my number.
