Black is better for a video background and IMO is a much better looking color. White however dosen't show scratches as easy as black dose.

Yeah, Im wondering about this as well. Do you mean that it will just drain it and you will have to recharge, or will it really mess up your battery in the longrun?

The battery can only recharge so many times. And video drains the ipod really really quick so...

can you run it off of the ac adapter to watch a movie and not affect the battery? i know you can with the psp. thanks
I'm not sure if it won't affect the battery at all, but it will charge while you're watching it so that it won't be dead when you're done.

Yeah, that makes sense. It can be recharged plenty of times, but the faster it drains the more times the faster it dies right? Like a cell phone battery kinda, gets shitty after a while.
Now, I know this is a ridiculous question, but I dont know so much about ipods The battery is non-replaceable, right? So if it does go dead, youre screwed, yes?

haha this is a bad idea, i tried to replace the bat for my mini, one that i actually paid 250 for and i broke it by f-ing up some sauder things or something and the broke the sound then the click wheel and i was too lazy to take back to apple so i have no ipod now....

i just ordered a black one off 123StuffForFree. I think the black is a better deal because it will appear cleaner for a longer time, and dirt and blemishes won't show up as much
I just bought a skin off that site bestskinever, because my brother had an iPod and within a few months it was scratched to hell shrug

Thanks, i just want to get a few more opinions on the white vs. black issue. it does matter to me which one gets hotter since i am outside alot, i just order the white one from yfvi. i think ive made the right pick. ipods should be white. the next one i get ill get black. thanks guys
