I know this probably seems a little weird, but I was wondering if you guys know of some good, popular 80s and 90s music. I randomly hear songs and I'm like "Oooh, I like/remember that song, but I dont know the name" so I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute some that were popular back when.

A good place to look is iTunes. Just search for a really popular song you know will be on compilation lists and check them out.

A Tribe Called Quest's "Award Tour" was one of the first songs to get me interested in music. It was one of the songs on the soundtrack of Thrasher (for PS) and I would just unselect all the other tracks and let the character stand there, listening to it over and over.
