That thread is funny. I can't tell who hates who, but I only see about 1% of the information in that thread having any thought put into it.
I like how they talk about bait and switch. Like they all DESERVE the $2500 that was given to some members instead of a Plasma at the start. It doesn't matter to them that you can get a Plasma now for $1000 and it says in their ToS, yes they are valid even if you don't want to beleive it or some idiot that has no clue says they are not, that items may be changed.

I have no idea. I think some people don't like Gigante, while others do, but when you read it you can't tell who is for or against him, or even why.
I think there is something to do with GCA, giftcardaddict, but I have no idea what that is about. It's funny, because it is confusing.

First ppl are accusing Gigante of being secretive and only participating in this site gca.com
has anyone even heard of this site?

GCA is an invite only site. Most of it's members came from scam.com, as soon as it got started, a big group of new people joined scam.com and made all sorts of new topics. I see it as the GCA members tgrying to come back and confuse people who are actually looking for info. It is my opinion, I am not who thinks any of them owe me anything, I feel like I know what I need, and learned a lot from some of those members, but they shouldn't be comming back to scam to try to talk down the freebie sites so they can have them for themselves...
This is all how I feel about it, and may not be true, but it is what I feel it is happening...

YFDirect was dumb in the first place to not have a more strict TOS about doing offers multiple times. It makes me so mad when people get so greedy even when they are getting the most ridiculous deal ever without frauding offers.

The whole reason the DIY scene is basically dead is because of them 3 telling everyone else. Pff, that will be the last time I tell those clowns when I find a site for $1000 and 3 offers. P

there are plenty of accusations flying around, most blaming old members of the complete screw-up of scam.com... it looks like some jealousy is flaming things up, lots of people expected a warm invitation, but were not considered worthy or something... really, who cares...

Not really scam.com's fault. YFDirect made it way too easy to do their sites, and had no repercussions for scammers. Anysite that had that info will have its members who are greedy.

But Scam.com leaves the threads open where people basically walk you through it. We'd never leave those...

when I started lurking scam.com I thought it was good info, people posting their progress and claimimg getting gifts, but quickly degenerated into who knows what, lots of members started acting like if they owned or were prefered members in these gifts sites and encouraging among themselves to abuse the system... those self proclaimed preferred members are the ones starring the soap opera now.

well, scam.com is not dedicated to freebies, the mods really don't give a crap about those threads as long there are no referral links, and they kinda joke about the freebie community been a bunch of fakes.

What could possibly be on there that you don't already know? All the DIY sites have raised their requirements due to the massive amount of completions. Maybe they discuss offer frauding methods? lol I have no idea. Neither do I care really. If there is a freebie deal out there I most likely know about it already anyways.

roll Don't really understand what that means but I don't like if the gcaddicts people are trying to pull something or act holier than thou. They don't have any right to do a site more than anyone else.
Gigante, Junior, Luca have been nothing but helpful to me and especially this board. If it wasn't for Junior's iBook thread I would've never started DIY again. I have no idea what happens on Scam.com or anywhere else so I can't really comment but those users are still A+ in my book...

I am here more than any other forum that I participate in.
And I was banned from Scam for having an affiliate link in my signature (lol).
Scambuster doesn't like people that try to get free stuff, so anytime he can bust anybody for anything he does. The site is poorly run and scambuster is the only moderator so he can do what he wants. Scam.com is full of rampant frauding and totally ruins the freebie scene, but whatever people want to post is up to them.
