How to protect your iPod?

Hey,
I've recently received the black 60Gb iPod from Trainn. Light scratches are starting to show up and I don't like that. What's the best way of preventing this? I've seen a lot of these skins and clear plastic things on eBay. Are those any good? Any recommendations?
Thanks!

I just got one and put it on. It's nice but don't be stingy with the soapy water when applying it.

Once you go Lajo, you'll never go back.
www.lajo.biz
Great products on par with iSkin (once the same company) for at least half the price. Plus they have occassional coupons and sales that are unbeatable.
They also have unique art skins like the US flag that no one else has.
Only drawback is the customer support. They need to be pushed for results.

Back to a serious note, those cases look pretty nice. Which one do you recommend for the 5G 30GB iPod video? O

Not sure. They have so many styles and designs.
Personally, I'd go with a flat back and covered touch wheel. If I want a belt clip, I'll put the skinned 'pod in a leather case for that. The covered touch wheel is great so no dirt or oils get into the wheel mechanism. Plus those types offer the best protection against moisture.
As for color/design, go with what you like most.
As for bestskinsever, if they are thin, then there's no bump protection. Lajo has thick and thin skins. 2mm was perfect for me.

I just got my iskin today!! ordered off of amazon and payed around 9ish dollars less than from ordering from the website! the protection is amazing. I completly underestimated it. for the price, it's the best on the market. (vaja might be better if you have the money wink )

I have an iSkin which was like $40 but I don't know if it was worth it. You sure get a lotta protect for your iPod with it.

I like the iSkin because not only does it protect from scratching, it helps protect it if you drop it...

the lajo cases have nothing on iskins or even the incase letherfolio.
i have owned all 3 and the iskin was the best silicon by far and the leatherfolio is just more fun than the iskin

I've given up on iskins. They protect well but they catch lint like crazy. It's pretty gross. I just ordered a custom ifrogz case. They can be found here http//ifrogz.com/?utm_source=ilounge&utm_medium=webad&utm_campaign=ilounge_mar
According to the website, they are silicon cases like the iskin but are pretreated so that they don’t attract lint. They are made out of the same silicon as the popular livestrong bracelets.

Nah, I've held an iSkin, and the Lajo's are of equal quality. The Lajo's are a bit better for the fact they don't have those raised corners that break the flow of the curve. I think they did this when Lajo split off from iSkin for a visible difference. Plus with the designs, and prices, Lajo beats iSkin.
As for leather cases, I don't like them. As smooth as the leather may be, they scratch the surface. I'd only use one with silicone skinned iPod. (Which I do)

I tried the powder. It's rather messy and the effects don't last very long (

You have to wipe it [i55c247ade7]all[/i55c247ade7] off, and then you don't notice it.
It seems to be like painting something. You have to do coats. I think I dusted each of my skins 3 times in talc, and have never had to do them again.
