I've decided I don't want to spend more money on another game so I'm gonna "trade in" Ghost Recon for Oblivion at Walmart.
Could I go and return it and say it's laggy and it's a bad copy and get a new sealed one and then go to another walmart and return it and get Oblivion?
Have any of you guys tried this?

I have a receipt for it. I've only had it for 2 days.
So no one has tried this?

yeah it all depends on who you talk to, and how good you can bullshit
if you are good at it, it works.
I remember junior saying they accused him of stealing an unopened shuffle, so dealing with CS is all a game
what i have done is return it and say there was no game in it.
then they give you a new copy, they will probably open it up and check the 2nd one though.
but you can go sell one or both to gamestop at that point.
its a little further down the moral ladder though.

they wouldnt let me bring back an open psp game even with the receipt, due to copyright infrigment. i could only have gotten the same game

Yeah, that's why I'm gonna take mine back to them and try to get the same game saying that mine is faulty.
And then with the new sealed one I'll go to a different walmart and return it and get Oblivion.
If that doesn't work I'll just sell the sealed copy on ebay.

yeah that should work, get a new copy of it, then return somewhere else for a different game. If their the same price it should be gravy )
Edit I remember when i was modding a ps1 and f'ed it up...i put it in the box and went to CS at walmart and said it wasn't working properly...they said go exchange it and your all good. I did it and i modded it good this time...funny thing was i returned a dead bad modded ps1 and my friend didn't even buy it at walmart...LOL

you can go to wallmart and say it was bad so they will give you a new copy of the exact same game even withouth a receipt but to make sure that you do not exchange it for a different game, they will rip the seal off.
they will do the same thing in toys r us, even if you have a receipt.
although i doubt it, you might get lucky.

They wont give you a sealed copy. They will open the seal before handing it over to you. Tried it before with BF2

I'll probably get flame for this but I sold the cd-key of the copy that I took back on ebay for $40. So it virtually paid off for itself.

I feel bad for the sucker who bouught it after you returned it....lol
some workers at walmart are pretty stupid....They might just give u a new sealed one. But u def. can't exchange an open game for another one.

Bah. The lady openned it. Oh well. It was worth a try. ? The game was free anyway.
It looks like I'll have to stop being such a money whore and I'll just have to buy Oblivion for cheap off ebay.
I hate spending money lol.
