Anyone recommend any good calendar application for Windows?

I was pissing about with iCal (Mac) last night and thought it was pretty sweet but you can't get it for the PC, Mozilla's calendar isn't compatible with my version of Firefox and the ones I found on Google were shite.

+karma for help. D

If you're a Firefox/Thunderbird fan like me, give Mozilla Calendar/Sunbird a try. It's still in development but was useable when I tried it last. And I see they just released the Lightning plugin for TBird, so I'll have to give that a shot myself.

Yeah that's one of the first places I tried, but like I said in my original post, it's incompatible with my version of Firefox. It's only supported as far as version 1.0 whereas I have 1.5.0.1.

It was my wife's iBook I used it on, but I hardly use it so there's no point in using iCal on there. Plus, I don't think the price of a Mac would be worth it to just use iCal. wink

Nope, it's available for 1.5 also.

http//www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/download.html#download_firefox

Look under the 1.5 column in the matrix, there are links for both Experimental and Stable builds.

Also, Sunbird is the standalone version and doesn't require FF or TB.

I just downloaded and installed Sunbird, the Mozilla project calendar and it's pretty cool. Looks good, customisable, does what I need it to do.

Give it a try.

I wish you could get iCal for the PC.

It seems decent. Got any themes for it yet?

CollidgeGraduit

Ugh, it uses miltary time... any way to disable that?

I dunno, I prefer my time like that though. I wish I could have my XP computer clock in 24 hour time.

No themes for it but there only appear to be maybe 5 available and they're all pretty pants. shrug

Clock Try Skins - you can modify your clock into Army Time (24 hour time), or regular, you can also check your uptime, and it has a built in calendar....

There's a crack out there for it somewhere for the 2.5 version. So I'd suggest finding Clock Try Skins v2.5 and finding the crack for it. Hope this helps / is slightly what you were looking for

Yeah I used Rainlendar a while ago and thought it was pretty cool. I used Sunbird last night and it's cool although it won't start up with Windows so I guess I'll go back to Rainlendar.

Thanks for the help bitches.

Won't start up with Windows? That's what the Startup folder is for, or the HKLM(or HKCU)\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key in the registry. ANYTHING start up with Windows.
