Band-aid vs. Liquid Bandage

We got into a big discussion in class today about which is better. Classic band-aids are gaudy and dirty. the new liquid bandage is clean and efficient, but weird.
What are your thoughts?
Liquid Bandages are the future... If they would only utilize the same technology to produce Liquid Condoms lol

liquid bandaids are pretty nifty. i have a pretty bad ankle, and i sprain it constantly. when i do, i always collapse and rip lots of skin off my knee. its always too painful to cover with bandaids, plus, the wound is usually too large, so i would have to get gauze and everything and tape it up... annoying, painful, and messy. last time i did it, i got a bottle of nexcare, i think is the brand, spray on 'bandages'. it is WONDERFUL. as a side note, though, the knee wound was so bad and gross looking that i ended up letting it heal with something else... i cant remember the exact name of it, but bandaid sells a form of them... they are an odd skin like material, and they are made to stay on for a loooong time, act as an scab, and they trap your bodys own natural fluids under it and the bandage forms what looks like a white blister (on the bandage itself, not your skin) and since it acts as a scab/skin, the wound heals quite nicely if you leave it on for as long as its supposed to be. you stick it directly to the wound, and i swear it is not as painful as it sounds. within a few minutes you may notice the bubble starting to form. it is very flexible, so the big ones i got for my knee worked wonders. a good thing to remember about these, though, is that they DO act as scabs, and its important to not take them off even a day after putting one on, because you get the same result as ripping off a scab, plus lots of icky fluids that arent bad but you probably dont want to see.
i recently used my spray on stuff on my face because i had an itch on my cheek that wouldnt go away... feel free to laug, but when i have a bad itch, i take off my watch and use the velcro on the band to scratch it. it usually feels amazing, but i zones out and rubbed it on my face for a little too long. basically, i had this nasty velcro burn on my left cheek. probably one of the stupidest things i have ever done... heh. i did bandage it up with some gauze pads and half a tube of neosporin overnight, but in the morning i took that off and sprayed some of the stuff on... sure, you could see a huge streak of BURN down my face, but it was completely protected from debris, and it was very comfortable.
/forgive the length, i am stuck waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up from work, and i have been done working for a half hour now.

Liquid bandages are great, I was in a bike accident last year and cut up both of my knees pretty bad. I used liquid bandage on the one that looked worse and regular bandaids on the other. The one with liquid bandaid healed a lot faster and actually has much fewer scars on it.
