Does anyone here make a living working online? I'm trying to find ways for myself to make money online. I know everything takes work and its not going to just be handed to me, but what types of online jobs are there? I know ebay and I have done some ebay work for me and for other people. What other online jobs are there?

Thanks for any responses!

Depends on your skills. I've found a lot of contract and freelance work on craigslist. There's Amazon Mechanical Turk, though I'm not sure if it's taking off (check turking.com). What type of experience do you have?

Well, if anyone knows of a company that pays for typing @ home, tell me (lol).

It's pretty much dead. I've been checking that site every once in a while, and Turking.com went down.

I don't know what type of experience you mean, I used to work on consignment with a local antique store, and the lady there would probably have things for me to sell if I could do it more efficiently. I need to get turbo lister downloaded from ebay (worked on a Mac before so I couldn't) I hear that will save major time.

I have lots of computer skills but dont' really know what is necessary for other jobs.

Yeah ive done a search for them, most forums talk about scams of doing entry data on computers at home.

Dont really feel like risking it...

How about some degrees from home?

Yeah, been more into ebay as of late.

My good friend just won a 12,500 package to the wsop tourney in July over at bodog for a $250 buy in.

I play online poker, I can make decent money doing it, but I don't ever feel like playing... I'd like to find a different way to make money.

there isnt really a secret behind it.... i am a web and graphic designer and i work on projects for different online companies

i have been doing this for some time now, at first i would rarely get one job each week and that wouldnt usually pay more than $30 or $40.

Nowadays I have several recurring clients that always have graphic needs. they usually get the graphics from me and sell then for more but i dont mind because they are int he business that brings them lots of clients.

other times i get web page requests or create customize designs and auction them off...

everything is done online on the different sites and forums

Yea, you can make a lot of money in this industry. It has been about one year since we rented out an office for our print media. overhead is close to 500 but if you have a business of your own, you would know thats a pretty low cost.

How long would it take to learn webdesign at a level where you could start making that kind of money?

Vector

I have been doing this for three years but I know some witty kids that have been learning the ropes for about 6-8 months and they are bringing in some clients.
