If anyone has the $5 still in their account I am willing to pay $2.50 paypal for it. This is good for you and me because you can't do anything w/ the $5 until you send someone money, so i'll pay you $2.50 for it! PM me if anyone wants to make a few bucks!

I'll remeber this if I end up doing textpayme. But one question what is it that you can do with the money once you have enuff to actually spend it? Who takes textpayme?

If you have more than $5 in your account you can withdraw it by check for free.

No you can't, you have to make a transaction before you can cash out the origional $5, which makes it worthless...

Correct, you can't withdraw your original $5. But if you get more than $5 in your account than of course you can withdraw money just like I have done (see sig). Im just leaving the original $5 in my account for whenever I find somewhere to spend it (ebay sellers will probably be accepting it shortly with all the coverage textpayme has had on the tv)

Yes, so as of now it is worthless, so I will pay anyone $2.50 for it, unless they are accecpting payments for something, or someone starts accecpting it on ebay and you plan to put in CC info to pay through it, the $5 is worthless shrug

Yeah guess its semi worthless. But Im gonna plan on using the service since it seems like its going to rival PayPal. Major publicity they have been getting on tv. Plus it'll come in handy if I want to sell any of my freebies on craiglist or something

paypal has their own "text pay" service so odds are they won't end up having textpayme as an official payment option on ebay. Of course you can still put it in your description though.

Textpayme has been very fast for me though. I got my balance sent to me through check and got it in two days. Cool service and excellent customer service. I really hope they catch on in more "real world" places.

No, there was no certain amount of 360's, just a month long... they said they havn't decided what the next promotion will be but there was talk about ipods or other electronics as gifts for referals...

and about sending me money and i'll send you half back, its kind of that, excecpt it is worth 0 to anyone that has it unless they plan to buy something for less than $5 from someone who accepts it or they plan to add more money and find someone who accepts it...
