Does anyone know of any tips to speed up Limewire movie downloads? (i.e. Turn off certain programs?)
Get limewire pro if you don't already have it, you can DL it from limewire itself.

I downloaded limewire pro from normal limewire. But I think the speedy downloads is pretty over rated. I've never noticed any real significant increase in speed.

I downloaded Pro. Before my movie download was going at an average of 25-30 KB/S, now the average is about 75 KB/S.

I use Limewire as a quick fix, I don't want to download a whole fucking album for just ONE song. BitTorrent is mainly for movies...
Plus, I get better speeds on Limewire 160KB/s+ max as opposed to 150KB/s-.
