I want a TV that has good quality. I would probably hook up my 360 to it. I want it to be around 4-500. What are some good ones? (size and picture wise) HDTV or LCD or whatever would be nice.
I saw a Toshiba 26HF85 26" Widescreen HD-Ready Flat Screen TV for $400. Any other ones similar to that? Does that one look good? Here is the amazon link.

Will this TV have the dots (pixels) everywhere? Because I looked at some TVs at best buy and a lot of them look like crap, pixels everywhere. Will it look crystal clear? Could it be the cable at best buy or something?
You think they would let me plug in a 360 to it or something before I buy it?
CRT HDTVs suck in my opinion... ?
If you have the money, go DLP.
If not, I would recommend you wait until the holiday season and pick up a good steal on a DLP (or LCD).

What does HDMI support mean?
and How would my 360 look on it? Nice?

HDMI is the newest standard for audio/video transfer. Unlike component and composite cables, HDMI cables allow for the transfer of both audio and video in a single cable. HDMI cables are currently the highest quality option.
Unfortunately, the 360 doesn't have an HDMI output--although they have hinted at adding one in the future. My guess is that the forthcoming HD-DVD add-on will support HDMI. Currently, VGA cables provide the highest quality video output for the 360.
Still, you should look for sets that have at least one HDMI input. Make sure that the set you get supports HDCP (high definition copy protection)--if it doesn't, amazingly, you might have problems displaying DVDs and other content via the HDMI input.

I can't find this TV at any local best buys or anything. I wanted to see the picture before I bought it. I don't want to buy a TV where you can see those dots all over.
And do you think it matters if I bought it refurbished? I could get it like 50-60 cheaper refurb.

I'd feel better spending an additional $60 to get a brand-new set, but that's just me.
By the way, don't feel bad about buying a CRT set. They still offer the best picture quality available, often at a lower price than flat-panel sets. Their popularity is only in decline because it's tough to produce big (e.g. > 37") screens and their bulky form factor doesn't suit people for whom space is an issue.

Yeah that's what I was going to say too. CRT will give you a better picture so go for it since you're going for a 26 incher. I was going to get one but space is an issue for me so I ended up with an LCD.

I'm actually in the market for a similar tv. My space is limited so the biggest I can go is 26". I want HD, something that will look really good with my 360.

could I make this my computer monitor? And would my 360 look good on it? As well as other TV like satellite or cable. Will there be the dots everywhere like some TVs?

Does that LCD have a better or worse picture than the one I said? Is it HD?
