So anyways, recently ive been surfing youtube alot. Well anyways, i was just wondering. How can youtube make money. Having all those videos, like and then having people watch them; like thats a lot of traffic and storage. Usually something like this wouul dbe makin its green off ads galore. But the only advertising i notice is google adwords, and that can't be solely enough to make them the money that they need?


So....

how do they do it?

They aren't really making money yet. They just started selling advertising in March. They've raised $11.5 million in venture capital, but bandwith costs are estimated at $1 million / month.
