Can anyone explain to me how quicktrade works exactly?? The screencaps on their site aren't really sufficient. Is it really possible to "Get 5 referrals in 5 minutes?"

I am also interested in learning more from anyone who's signed up!!
thanks

ehhh what it is is just you put what you are looking for, and what you are able to sign up for....and you look through lists and find people who can complete what you are are looking for who also have something you can sign up for still. its just trading referrals. i've heard it works pretty well but there is also no way to ensure an honest trade other than a feedback system

Thank you FreeOffersNow. So is it just some sort list, and you have to contact the person yourself and hope that they complete an offer? Has anyone actually gotten a substantial amount of referrals from this site?

yes, you contact the person yourself. Email contact is made through a contact form so your email isn't made public, and you can post your AIM if you so decide.
it will depend on several factors. For instance, don't expect any referral for freeipods.com I would assume that pretty much everyone is already signed-up for that deal, so I doubt you'll find people to trade for that one.
Then there's a real problem of cheaters. The list of scammers at GearLive is a 20 pages long thread on their own forum. They have a karma system to try and prevent cheating but since people get their karma signing-up for offers and that there is a limited number of offers one can sign-up for, people with the highest karma are not available for trading anymore.
In any case, what's for sure is that your $7.50 (or whatever it is with the 'promotion') are not refundable, whether you get scammed or not.
