So everytime I try to update my iPod via iTunes I get this error

I've tried reseting and restoring and nothing. Can someone help me?

Try reinstalling itunes. If you restored your ipod than it's probably not an ipod problem.

I'm just not a big iPod fan seeing how many iPods start to die after a few years. I'm starting to look at iRiver or Creative for my next MP3 player...

It's not an ipod problem that they die, it's the fact that they have laptop harddrives in em....Get a 12 gig nano when they come out...nand flash is much more durable.

#1 Thats the stupidest rationale I've ever heard. Its of course an iPod problem because everyone I know with an iPod over 2 years old is having issues.
#2 The 12GB Nano is very far away and 12GB isn't enough storage for me. The next gen Nanos will be 4 and 8GB.
