If anyone has some free time and knows how to work phpBB, I need some help getting my forum configured. I don't understand how this works yet, and I need some help. If anyone can sit down with me for a little while, help me out, it would be appreciated. Either reply here or PM me. Thanks in advance.

I can help. What is it that you need? Mod help? Template help? Do you have phpMyAdmin installed?

Template help, and I don't know what that is, so I would assume no. Have you ever heard of Fantastico? It installs this stuff for me.
If you have fantastico, then you [if68f5800d3]must[/if68f5800d3] have cpanel, and if you have cpanel, you must have phpMyAdmin.
Template installing is actually pretty easy. Making templates from scratch that's another story.
I do have cpanel. I need to make a template from scratch, basically. One that goes with the color and layout of my site. Is it really difficult? Is there any place where I could download templates and just find one that goes with the website? Here's another "dumb" question how do I change the phpBB gif to my own picture?

http//www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?db=2
You can find lots of diffrent templates there. I would suggest you use a pre made one and modify it untill it looks like you want it.
To change the php gif. I assume you are refering to this picture.

http//www.blinkpointofview.net/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif[" alt=""/imgd4d71722f8]
Right click the image on your forum and hit properties. This will show you the path to your image. In my case its http//www.blinkpointofview.net/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif
Save the image you want to replace it with as phpBB.gif (or whatever the original file name is)
Login to your FTP go to forum>>templates>>subSilver>>images. Of course replace "forum" and "subSilver" with whatever the name of your forun is and the template your using. Now transfer the image that you named "phpBB.gif" over to the images directory. Depending on what type of FTP client your using you should get a message saying something like "Are you sure you want to replace "phpBB.gif" with "phpBB.gif"?" click Yes and save/upload every thing.
Go to your forums hit refresh and you should see your new image.
Sweet. One more dumb question how do I install a new template?
