We had a storm here in St. Louis last night. There were reports of 90+ mph winds downtown. Somewhere between 400,000-500,000 homes without power, 80% of downtown is out of power. Lambert airport had it's power knocked out, and interstate 70 is closed in areas because of debris. Most of north county, where I live is under a "boil water order" because the pumping station has no power. It's supposed to be one of, if not the worst outage in Stl history.
On the good side, I'm one of the few houses around that has it's power back on.

I live in the part without power. We had power since two days ago but no elevator and no hot water since they still need to save energy. The floors beneath me have less power than me so it's pretty funny. The building next door didn't have power until today.
It wasn't too bad for me (about 24hrs. without power) but cable is out and I'm on dial-up. Watching HDTV thanks to an antenna.
