i need a new router.....

I currently have a Linksys BEFW11S4 router and a Linksys BEFCMU10 cable modem. The router only has 4 ethernet ports on it though, and I need 5. What is a reliable, cheap router that will be compatible with my modem, that has at least 5 ports and support for at least one wireless pcmcia internet card? Thanx!

Im fairly sure any Router will be compatible with your modem... Just get a 7-8 port router on NewEgg. Linksys / D-link are both reputable brands.

would a hub work fine? are there any ethernet hub's you reccomend?

Yea hub should do the job but you have the to attach the hub to your router. A hub alone is no good. But you're prob better off just buying a 7-8 port router on newegg.
