[quote5e72988f7c="CNN.com"]As part of its coverage of the fifth anniversary of 9/11, CNN Pipeline will stream CNN's television coverage of September 11, 2001, in real time, as the events of the day unfolded.

The free replay on Monday will begin at 830 a.m. ET, minutes before the first plane hit the World Trade Center in New York.

Monday's live stream of CNN's coverage of 9/11/01 is the first in an occasional series of historical days that CNN Pipeline plans to present.[/quote5e72988f7c]
Sounds interesting. Thought I'd share it with everyone. It usually costs $2.95/month, but it will be free on Monday.
(Saw it on my Google CNN RSS feed)

Yeah, that's what we need... To re-remember the tragic events of 9/11 as they happened at that exact time it happened 5 years ago roll

It's not like they are throwing it in your face, you have to go out of your way to watch it. So that being said, i'm sure there are lots of people who would be interested in seeing it again, or for the first time.

I don't know what planet you're from, but I don't consider that as a "memorial"... It's just in bad taste on CNN's part... My friend, you have to see [be73830cb0c]beyond[/be73830cb0c] what's being presented to you.

I know this is a very touchy subject, so I'm just going to leave it as that and call it my 2 cents.

It's historical, man. Most of us didn't see it live on CNN.

Fixed

I did see it live, and am old enough to remember what I was doing at work when it all started to go down.

Most of my memories of that day are fuzzy, but I don't think I'll need to watch this to remember what happened or how I felt. Watching this would almost certainly make me sick to my stomach again.

I remember most of that day, how I found out, what happened afterward.

I was in Multiculturalism class freshman year of HS and another teacher came into the classroom and said a plane has hit the World Trade center. No one in the class could believe it but we went down to the library where they had TVs setup (none in the classrooms) and we watched it for a bit before class ended. After that we weren't really allowed to see much more of it, but I watched CNN once I got home. I saved the newspaper from the day afterward.

I was on my way to sculpture class when I heard it on the radio, I was late and I walked into the classroom stunned and kinda just ignored the teacher went over to his radio and switched it from CD to let everyone listen. He made us all go home after the Pentagon was hit because DC is only about 30 minutes away from my college. One of the girls was frantic because her mother worked in the world trade center, she left before we did. Very sad day.

Right.. it's not like its on TV or anything, it's on a website. If you don't want to watch it, then don't...

I was talking with Madonna while it was happening.

And then I went home to watch it on CNN. I can't watch the people jumping from the buildings though, that freaks me out the most.

I was in 5th grade, music class, and my mom came and picked me up and my little sister (I live right outside New York, about a 20 minute train ride to Grand Central, and my dad works at Rockafeller Center, in the city) I had to ride my bike to my house because I rode it to school that day, and the streets were empty, I had no idea what had happened at this point, but i found it eary that nobody was around. Then my friends mom drove by and was like...."Hey, ummmm, what are you doing? Do You want a ride or something?" And I still had no idea what was happeneing, I got home and My mom is sitting with my little sister and just says "We're being attacked" and I looked at the tv which was too my back, just in time to see the second tower fall......One of my most vivid memories and most horrifying by far...It was awful. A lot of people in my town died that day, including our fire chief.

Why do people think this is a bad idea? Like said already its not being forced. It doesnt compare like last time it was pretty much every single channel. A lot of people will this interesting even though its very emotional, its not much different than watching a war documentary.
