and you multiply the x wiht the parentheses to get x^2+2x

Well, I think it's pretty much the same either way shrug, since you can factor out the 'x'.

I thought you said you were a national merit scholar or whatever in that other thread about you getting in a fight. Doesn't that mean you're really good at the psat?

Na I was in the national honors society. That is pretty much anyone with a B+ or higher. Heh. I am good at school, but these tests are kicking my ass. Hopefully I prepped enough so I can kick the asses of those tests. Senior year so I gotta do well on them. I won't be able to go to any of my top choices if I don't.

No you don't, because you can simplify x^2+2x by taking out the X and making it x(x+2)
