I have never used alertpay before but someone on craigslist wants to pay me via alertpay (I have no clue what it is) and he needed my address and everything and I gave it to him. Well what I wanted to know would I be able to withdraw funds or get physical dollars after he sent me the payment? Its for a PS3 and I just don't want to get scammed its my first time using craigslist and anything outside paypal.

i've never used it, and it looks legit, but i would probably just tell him that you only take paypal, and if he wants to buy your ps3, that's how he has to pay.

Craigslist for anything other than physical cash is a no-no on my terms.

Why is that?
I haven't been scammed yet on ebay or paypal but I've heard of chargebacks and stuff I really don't want to deal with that stuff.

Craigslist.
Enough said. Craigslist should be done physically, not via shipping or crap like that.

The guy tried to scam me. He has a fake alertpay email and tried to lure me in saying they need the tracking number and then the funds will transfer. It was pretty obvious when he offered me more than I wanted and he gave me his real adress too, Im actually thinking about going over there.
