McKinley Mac? What the fuck?
So, I was driving around today and I saw an McDonald's Ad that said "McKinley Mac is here"... I was curious what the hell they were talking about so I drove in... It's a Big Mac only sold in Alaska during the winter.

http/" alt=""/img236.imageshack.us/img="236/668/dscf0040ge0.jpg[" alt=""/imge615459da3]
I have never seen a "regional" Big Mac before... Except for one time when I was in Iceland, McDonald's was selling the "Mega Mac" which was a Big mac with 3 layers instead of 2.
Has anyone else spotted other regional fast food products you've come across?

they stole the texas slogan, everything is bigger here!

Well...Alaska [i7ac5247822]is[/i7ac5247822] bigger than Texas. I guess that burger has enough calories to fuel a climb up Mt. McKinley, so they just named it after it shrug
I'm not sure how "regional" it is, but you can usually ask for green chili on your burger here.

i want to go to Alaska, not for the big mac, but just because I think that it would be an amazing experience
Alaska is more than twice the size of Texas. You don't deserve the slogan.

Damn, I didnt know Alaska was that big. The mc rib is back but does it have the bones? It would be a mess eating it if it does.
hehehhehe

No, the mcribs don't have bones. They are fucking tasty. Thanks for letting me know they're back for now. I will need to scout out a bunch of mickey Ds starting tomorrow.

All of Alaska is habitable... It's just that people civilized in the Southern regions of Alaska where it is most accessible (example The AlCan [Alaska-Canada] highway). But, there are villages all over Alaska.
Anyways, the animals own the land, not the people. We just have a tiny slice of the pie.

The minimum wage is $7.15 making it one of the highest paying wages in the U.S. next to Washington ($7.93) and Oregon ($7.80)
Federal minimum wage is $5.15... 1/2 of the nation is at federal minimum, 1 state is below and 6 states don't even have a minimum wage law to begin with. Shit, I'd hate to live in Kansas... Their minimum wage is $2.65.
Also, it's Alaskan law that if the federal minimum wage surpasses Alaska's current minimum wage, it has to be at least $1 above that.

I don't think that is correct, when i started my job I started out at 6.25 at the sno-cone stand, and I remember seeing a sign on the wall saying the minimum wage is $5.15, I think it is $2.65 for restaraunt wages, like applebees or any dine in restaraunt where they work on tips more than their actual hourly wage...
I know that they can't pay regular workers only $2.65, but I don't work at minimum wage either way since I quit that job and play poker D

lol 2.65 that can't be legal anywhere in the US. If it is then why the fuck would anyone live in kansas and earn half wages there.
oh and kdollar is right, everything is bigger in texas. I doubt everyone in Alaska drives an F-350, and houston is the fattest city I believe. So while we are only the 3rd largest state, everything in here is bigger.
for better or worse.

I really don't remember too well. I went on vacation during the summer 3 times, and the most recent time I was like 14 or 15. So that was a long time ago.
Anyhow I did do a jeep tour on the rocky mountains, I think tin cup pass, and also stayed on a river in a log cabin. It's just a beautifull state, NM too.
