my package went out for delivery at 545 this morning. is it for sure going to come?

Will I get my package today?

The "Out for Delivery" scan doesn't actually mean that it is on the truck yet. It means that the package has the PAL label put on it which tells the sorters how to get the package to the truck. So, basically all it means is it's on its in the building and on the way to the delivery truck.

Technically, there's still a chance that something could go wrong, but yes it should be there today.

I have had packages on the truck for delivery and they don't show up at my house until a day or two later. Also, if its a signature package, make sure you are waiting near your door for the guy, they usually just knock and then leave after 1 second of waiting.

Was the delivery man nice? Man or woman? Brown traditional truck front end or newer "van-ish" looking front? Anything to get a pointless thread span across another page!

Cause "On the truck" doesn't actually mean on the truck. It means its in the building on the way to the truck. Pretty stupid. During the holiday season, the drivers have so much crap to get delivered that they as fast as possible at every stop. During december they have a person doing ride along that actually does a lot of the package running to make it faster. If it's not a signature required package they put it on the porch, ring the doorbell, and leave. They go that fast at every house and a lot of them still work 10-12 hour days.
