Anyone got a pair of Heely's? They seem kind of childish but I bought a pair with my brother because he begged me too tonight. I suck so bad with them though, I can't keep my balance. lol

The shoes with the "rollar skates" in the heel?
Haha, OMG, those are so popular with kids in Ohio. My little cousin told me they are actually banned from local schools here because kids were driving the teachers crazy and getting hurt.
I was in Lowe's the other day and some kid was skating around on the concrete with his. I was surprised hecause he looked like 6 years old and moving pretty fast and had good balance.
It's crazy though because i see kids with those everywhere.

I'm waiting for stores to have a hover board like Marty had in Back to the Future II. Now that, I would buy.

Hahaha, yeah, none of my friends believe me when I tell them I got them. They aren't my style on the outside but I decided to buy them anyways. I don't see how those little kids do it so easily, I mean I have pretty good balance. I skateboard sometimes and play sports and I still find it hard!

Those are pretty popular around here too. Especially in malls/ grocery stores... one kid at a local skate spot tried dropping into a ramp with one and hit their head right on the coping... lol it was awesome

My girlfriends 10 year old BROTHER has some, and I hate them. I want to throw a stick in front of him just to make him stop using them.

I saw those in Journey's too when I bought my Heely's. I don't think I'd use those much but I did see some Heely's that had a soap "part" to the sole too. Too extreme for my taste. lol Seriously though, if anyone wants to custom order some Heely's, I'd recommend it. Not because it's my site but because they are a lot of fun.

Agreed. Pretty annoying. Especially in malls. Every 12-year-old here has a pair. It's like a virus.

I want some! I looked around but no online retailers that I looked at has them in my size. Actually there was one with my size but I didnt completely want that color so I looked around to see if any others had my size then went back and they were already sold out. If I do buy them it will prolly be at the store.

Heely's were popular when I was in... 7th grade? That was like six years ago! Those shoes are for little kids. There is no way that anybody could take you seriously if they saw you in those shoes.

Wow... I had some in 5th grade.... I haven't seen Heely's in years. I sold mine I bought for $120 for $10 3 years ago. They were black and red with some sort of Apex 20 bearing that was "better" than apex 10's or something like that. I got to where I could roll down bumps in the driveway, and through the mall. I could even jump a ramp with them and go backwards. I started out sucking but I got better at it. I could probably put on a pair today and go through a skate park with them without falling down. Why dont I? Because I'm not in 5th grade anymore...

I hate those darn things, 90% of the kids wearing them are using them in the store and they keep running over me or zipping in front of the buggy.
by the way benner410, i love the picture of the Emu for your avtar!!!!

I had that exact same pair. Don't remember really using them much. I can't believe they made a comeback. Even my 5 year old niece wants a pair.
I lost count on how many times kids and their parents came into my store asking for those things when I worked for Vans shoes.
