i'll leave this guy anon for now.. but i told my sister the situation with what happened and she thinks that the guy lied.
ok, so here's how it went. we agreed to trade offers.... i do one freeipodshuffles for him, and he does one for me on freephotoipods. i was too estatic to even bother to see if he even did sign up that i just went ahead and did the offer (blockbuster)
a few mins later into the process when i was going to put down my credit card info, the guy copies and pastes his confirmation email to me. so i thought it was pretty legit. when i was done with mine, i got the same confirmation email.
so i thought everything was fine until 10-20 mins later, he mentions that he doesnt see my email appear under the list of signups... now, i thought it was odd too because i asked for his email and he gave it to me with no hesistation but when i emailed gratis about him signing under me, they said no email under what he gave them never did sign under me, i told him and he got mad.
now............
everyone keeps telling me that the guy ripped me off but i jus didn't want to believe it. but then my friend mentions that why did her offer turn green (she did it about 10 mins before me and that guy agreed to do the offer).... my friend did the blockbuster offer as well and there was no problem. she signed on, did the offer and got instant credit.
if you guys are afraid of getting jipped from the guy......
email me and ill tell you guys who he is.

the guy comes on here too. he doesn't want his name exposed. he said he's going to do the same and expose me. like i have anything to hide. but i just think that if i mention his name on here, it will be against terms of services.. so i rather not say.
i'd say it in email though, as long as people don't go posting who he is.

Well, I don't really care who it is, but it's not very "big" of you to be too scared to post info on a scammer. As far as Gratis goes, they really don't care about trades, and they will take no action against "bad" traders.

Unless one attempts to defraud Gratis (or their sponsors) they don't care.

it's still considered fraud. fraud on is behalf, lying that he completed an offer (he even sent them an email regarding it)
that's a waste of time for gratis's behalf.
it's also fraud against blockbuster's terms of use/services.

[b33f2fa316a]Our referral system will automatically credit your account if your referral has signed up at our site via your referral link. If you believe someone actually did sign up by clicking your link, but under the status page it says they have not joined, a couple of things could have happened. 1. You possibly mistyped that person’s email address when you referred them. 2. They joined but did not come to the site from clicking on your referral link. They must come from that link in order for us to track proper credit. 3. The user thought they signed up, but actually never did fully.
If your referral has completed an offer, the credit will show up immediately one we receive notification from the offeror. (Please note that while some offers are “instant” and will show up immediately, other offers can take up to 4 weeks to get credit from the offeror.) Sometimes referral credit will not appear due to user error. Some people mistakenly type in a friends email address, or a user “claimed” they signed up correctly but did not. So, all referrals will be credited if everything was done correctly. [/b33f2fa316a]
