If a site offered e-gold, I'm pretty sure I'd avoid it for exactly that reason. e-gold tends to be the payment processor of choice for scam/con-artists.

but yeah, e-gold is prone to scammers. use paypal or just get money wired to your account.

Why don't you just get paid by check or something, then use a exchange service to transfer that to e-gold. shrug

I'm thinking about doing it but the exchange services are so risky. When you choose to transfer the money from your bank most of those places are the biggest scams.

I totally agree. The only one's I would even [if2cfe2cec8]consider[/if2cfe2cec8] would be the ones on e-gold's site. I don't offer e-gold as a payment on my site, because the transfer fees, and the wire fees one both ends just to get a few hundred dollars transfered, would be way to much compared to the amount I would want transferred.

Why do you want egold so bad? I remember doing like getpaid to read email sites that offer egold but most turned out to be scams except a select few.
