J4320 mentioned this in the Sex Terms thread and I saw it last week on Digg. I wonder what you all think of it, especially since there are so many college students/campus dwellers on this forum. Good idea? New female weapon?

OH DAMN! That seems painful!!! It's a good idea if used in the right way. I can imagine some not very nice, or just really pissed of girlfriends/wifes using that in a manner it wasn't meant for.

It kinda reminds me of a picture that I saw on another forum a few years ago. Maybe I'll be able to find it. But anyway there was a picture of a tampon with a big metal spike on the end of it. Not as serious of a thing as that but still had the same idea.

I suppose it's a good idea. I mean if your girl really loves you she wouldn't do something like that to you. Oh and I don't think that it would be too difficult to notice unless you're forcing your dick in there in the dark.

I think the thing with this is that you probably DO notice it going IN, but it's the coming back OUT that's the problem...it's barbed kinda like a fish hook (does a lot more damage going the OTHER way), so once you start to pull out, it's "set"

I assume that it's probably hidden pretty well. So what would stop a pissed off girlfriend/wife from getting up in the middle of the night and putting one of those things in? I know I like to sometimes just roll over in the morning sometimes.

The kind of guy who who would rape a girl, is definitely the kinda guy who would kill a girl for doing that to him.

And agreed about the blood. I don't ever seeing this being used because of that. Who wants a rapists blood inside them? You could get AIDs or something else very easily.

I still think mace or pepper spray is the way to go if you're not taken by surprise. Carrying a knife could also help.

Maybe taking self defense classes or something is the answer.

it's a scary world. rape is something that is just beyond comprehension to me. What a horrible, horrible crime.

I believe rape victims should have the legal authority to murder their assailants. If anything like that happened to me I'd spend all my money hiring goons to make him die very very painfully and I'd make sure i'd be there to watch.

As far as a pissed off girlfriend using this, sounds like a pretty dumb idea to me, and a good way to end up with a broken nose or worse. If I was a guy and my girl used that on me she'd end up with assault charges.

If a guy is the type of person to rape someone and then a chick pulls this shit on him, how likely is he to either kick the shit out of her, or kill her (if he hadn't intended to anyway)?

This reminds me of a story I saw on TV years ago. It was about this middle-aged black lady who was the victim of a home invader who decided he would rape her too. She grabbed his balls, and began to twist them. I think she was even able to get it to two complete turns or more before he started to relent. I think most guys would be on the floor at just the grab, but some guys, ESPECIALLY those on drugs can take a lot.

really though, this would not be an incapacitating pain like having you testicles smashed by a knee. I agree that this would just anger a rapist more than save the woman.
