i got permission from my school, and i started working on a 3 wall mural in one of the labs. its taken forever, I've already invested 25-30 hours into it. all acrylic/airbrush. they asked me to do something "modern" but make it my own. I've done all the sketches for each wall, and i have an ipod silhouette on each wall. you can see from one of the pics I'm almost complete with the first one. got my favorite band up there, my cars next. 8-)
i took a couple pics of my progress yesterday, took about 4 hours to get that soco logo up there.

Hahaha, it doesn't say iPod anywhere, so it's just a generic MP3 player, right? wink And I doubt a band would mind if you grafitti'd their name onto a wall at your school.
I-..Is that a car or something in the middle that you didn't take a picture of?

yeah, we said that about ipod, they were cool with that because there were no actual name in there. and im part of the soco "street team", so i figure thats cool in their books. and the car in the middle is my car.

it looks really good. the only part i don't really like is the something corporate on it. i like the band and all, but the only thing in like 5 years, when you're gone and the band possibly doesn't even exist they still have it plastered up on the walls.
i really like the headphones though. i'm using headphones as imagery for my Graphic Form class. the project is due tomorrow, so i'll be working with them a lot in about 20 minutes, i might use yours as some inspiration

yeah, the soco might become out of date, but i don't care, I'm living now. i wont be there in 5 years -) plus they're not payin me! haha
