So why did you choose your nickname/forum name/alias to be...whatever your's is?
I mean...mine(phorty) comes from a dj'ing name i used to go by ...among other things ( producing/composing/ & just a general nickname i got for partying....alot).
This whole curiosity started when stroid revealed why he uses his name( if you don't already know, research it, its pretty uhm...odd...but undeniably hilarious too)....
so I'm hoping/thinking that maybe everybody has some interesting story of their own...besides, there are some weird names on here! lol lol 8)

Mine came from waaaay back when I was playing RPGs and stuff. Just kinda stuck, been with me since 91/92 or so.

Mine is pretty simple. My future career will be working in the Christian music industry, probably in production or as a dj. I have a passion for it - switched majors in college as a matter of fact. And in college my show was called "the hour of Godrock", so....hence the name )

Thomas Moore was an Irish poet. For a while I was thinking Thomas More, who wrote Utopia. Thomas More was beheaded in England. Heh, I know a lot about history.

Some middle eastern kid at my job said that shifu is chinese for master, and imam is malay for leader. or something like that. So, you could say i'm the master-leader, too...

My usual handle is 'bos' which is the three initials for 'bar of soap' which has been my handle for 7 years or so. I was trying to think of a name to replace the trite and childish 'fishkid' (I kept fish in aquariums at that time) and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. My nickname was right there in the dish.
Please note that the creepy similarities to fight club (my name is Tyler Derheim) are unintentional - I picked the name before the movie was released (and didn't read the book).
