So I officially bought my first dry ice pack today (9lbs) and after putting it in some water and watching it boil over or whatever I'm wondering if I should move on and try my hand at some soda bottles.
I'm not sure, we'll see how I feel, probably not. but who knows?
Also, here's a pic for entertainment

I got arrested last summer for doing the soda bomb things. The cop was a total asshole, came running out of his car with his gun drawn, I was like wtf?! Turns out one of the neighbors thought we were shooting guns at eachother (wtf?). Anyway, I got arrested and charged for litering and some other shit.

mine didn't work.
in fact I have a bottle sitting in the yard right now just full of CO2 waiting to pop. but it won't pop.
Also, my dry ice melted in the freezer for some reason.

i could be wrong but doesn't dry ice need to be kept at a colder temperature than regular ice, since dry ice is much colder than regular ice...

YES IT DOES - THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE HOLDING IT LONG. It will burn you. My son just made a potatoe gun - I was waiting for the police to come. Very loud rocket sound. Dry ice is cool to watch in water. Be careful.

You can put water in the bottle first (maybe half bottle) so you won't need as much dry ice. If you put it in just like that it may not cause enough pressure.
But that depends on how much you have.
