For work I have a $550 car allowance to do whatever with. So I'm thinking about what I should get. I'm thinking about getting an older crew or king cab truck, but it needs to be a 6 cylinder and a 4x4 because I need to get decent MPG, because then I'll be able to throw crap in the bed for any reason for personal use when I need it. I'm thinking about getting like a 1999-2002. It's going to be an office away from my office. So it'll have my laptop built into a stand in the passenger seat, a printer in the back along with a small file cabinet.
Maybe like $200 or so a month then getting a really nice sport car or instead a boat. I'm not exactly sure yet.
What would you do with $550 month to do whatever car wise with.

If you get a truck look at the Toyota Tundra's They are well built machines, and can last you well over 200,000 miles if you take good care of them.

i work in the claims department as an appraiser in the Rochester/Buffalo office at Travelers. I recommend any position with them highly. They give you 26 days Paid time off. Which is awesome because I was sick once last year so thats 25 days off. Then they give you 8 holiday days off. The best part is the PTO doesn't a crew they give it to you right when you start. So far I'm mclovin it.

If you were just out of college with a 4 year degree if you applied to Travelers you'd be put in the claims center doing data entry. That's where they put the new people. I worked for State Farm for a year, and got lucky. You also have to have good negotiating skills and a love of cars.

I saw a car like that on Cribs, it was Scott Stortch's car. It wasn't a BMW though, and I think it was like 5 million bucks.

speaking of hybrids, i think chevy is coming out w/ a hybrid tahoe. but, lexus is the shit. My mom has a GX (the middle SUV) thats she's had since 04'. Its pretty quick on the throttle, ridic smooth, and the only maintenence it ever needs is changing the oil, and doing w/e service at the intervals. Toyota in general makes beastly cars, i have a 99' 4runner w/ 130k miles and its always beast, not to mention i pretty much treat it like shit.

Yeah, I had to rewind that when he said that cause I thought i heard him wrong. That car is just absolutely amazing! I can't imagine going 250 mph on an expressway or something along those lines. Or even someone driving and having you blow by them going that fast. I wonder how good the handling is going that fast.
