You guys are lucky. Here in Tucson we get the occasional freak snow storm that will last a day and then all the snow is melted by the next day. But usually years will go by without any snow. right now I can still go out wearing a t-shirt during the day.

Thanks so much for the snow miss edie D . Now I can pretend I am in a winter wonderland even though it is close to 70 degrees outside LOL! The mountains that surround Tucson are covered in snow though so maybe a trip up them is in order.

We haven't gone 3 days in a row without snow since the beginning on December. Probably have over a foot on the ground. My dad works snow plow for the city, today is his first day not working a 12 hour shift since November 30th (yea, 15 straight days of noon til midnight). He hasn't been too happy with it, but what can you do I guess.

I still have yet to experience any snow on the ground. Though it has snowed very lightly, it never sticks.

Right now it is around 21 degrees but the sun is out shining brightly, its very pleasant considering that its mid-December.

No way! You are not crazy, you are lucky! Christmas time is supposed to be snowy, not a sunny 70 degrees. Here in Tucson the only thing that makes it feel like Christmas is all the lights on the houses and the Christmas trees. I don't know, I guess I just wish the 4 seasons actually had different characteristics here like they do everywhere else. If I look out the window right now, it looks exactly the same outside as it would in the middle of July. The sky is the same color, the plants are the same color, The trees still have all their leaves, It is around 70 degrees, which is still cooler than the summers 110 degrees but still...I'm dreamin of a white Christmas LOL!

I don't hate betty boop. .I strongly dislike her. I actually have never liked her even when I was a kid watching cartoons. My grandma loved her (still does, I think), and I just never could stand her. Or popeye or olive. I like disney chars more.

Sure, where are you at? D I am warning you though, the sunny weather is actually a bummer when everything associated with Christmas is always snowy. You know, all the tv specials and the songs on the radio. It totally sucks when Jingle Bells is playing on the radio and you have to open a window because it is too warm and the sun is blazing on the sand and cactus instead of a pleasant cloud cover and a nice blanket of snow on the ground and trees. wink
