Well, after you use the strips you're suppose to clean and close them pores up otherwise you're just going to make your pores even larger.

I'm convinced most acne is due to poor diet. I avoid saturated fats like the plague and I have near-perfect skin. Any time I have a pimple, I can trace it back to the exact meal (usually the night before) where I got lazy and had potato chips, pizza, or some other gross fast food.

I think it can contribute, but I also think that washing your face on a daily basis can take care of most mild to moderate acne.

I believe that it depends on the person. I eat junk foods almost every day (college life, I'm broke) and I will have the occasional zit, but other than that my face is clean. Right now, I have one zit on my upper lip that is almost healed.

That's probably true but I meant like someone who has acne can probably easily improve it by fixing their diet.

It's true. Actually ever since liknock on woodli I got this new job, got out of the filthy dusty shop and switched to --mostly-- natural foods, I haven't gotten a single pimple. And if I wake up with one on my nose just for talking about it I'm going to be pissed as hell.

That's what the strips are for. It rips that shit right out. It's so gross when you take it off and look at it at eye level there are all sorts of things that look like white grass growing out of your strip. It's gross as hell haha.

I think acne is atleast partly genetic. I don't watch what I eat (although I avoid sugar), I smoke, and its hot as hell here which translates to sweating - Even in my early teens I've never had more than one zit at a time, as of the last two years my skin has been totally clear. The same goes for the rest my family as well. All I do is wash my face in the shower.
I straighten my hair, and shave my chest/pubes..

Yeah, bleeding definitely doesn't prove you aren't preggers. When the wife got pregnant with our youngest we had no idea, because she was bleeding as much or more than ever. The bleeding steadily got worse, to the point we got concerned. She went to the ER while we were on leave before my leaving for Germany. Found out she was 8 weeks pregnant the day before I flew to Germany. Turned out that because she was still taking birth control pills (not realizing she was pregnant), the hormones were screwing up her system and causing excess blood flow. It's a miracle she didn't miscarry.

Yes. It's been known to happen, although for various reasons (ran out before buying a refill, or whatever) she would miss a day here and there. It's possible that our timing just might have been, shall we say, "fortuitous."

I just saw a commercial for the plan B pill and they say it works if you forget to use protection OR if your birth control fails.
I got news for you, if your pill fails, you aren't going to know it in 3 days. Nice marketing technique.
