Enema Of The State was the first CD I ever bought. I found it again last year for $4 in an indie shop and had to buy it. Some of the appeal had worn off... I didn't quite relate to the lyrics as much as I did when I was thirteen.

I stopped listening to them after Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, although I owned all of their albums until then.

Man, those were good times.

Dude Ranch reminds me of living in the mountains as a ski bum... and the booze/other.

Travis is simply amazing, one of the best drummers ever IMO. But their songs are aimed more towards younger teens.. Maybe they have changed up a bit since their breakup.

Ilan, you must listen to their self-titled album. The one after TOYPAJ. It's a huge leap from their typical jackass-ish ways. Although their old stuff was the kind of music that got me into them and into rock, man, their new stuff just sounds fucking ace.

Like I told Ilan, they've matured so much on their latest album (2003)

you should listen to it if you haven't )
