how does the karma and trading record work?

hi, new here and don't understand how the karma and trading record work. i did two trades so far, how do i get that to show on my trading record?

Karma is just something anyone can use -- it doesn't really mean much. Trade record on the other hand is something you only get through someone that has a TR of at least 2 nominates you on the "good trades" list (over at the Trading Post). Only mods can alter your TR.
