For those of you who have recently purchased (or will soon be receiving) the Sony PSP, I thought I would share a couple of links to software that I have found valuable. Since I have only had my PSP for a few days, I haven't tested thoroughly, but from what I have seen these packages are very nice.
I personally don't plan on buying many UMD movies so I needed a way to convert exisiting videos (DVD/VCD, MPG, AVI, etc) to a format viewable on the PSP. I think most everyone has seen
3GP Converter[=http//www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/]3GP Converter (Japanese Site with English-capable software), but have you tried
PSP Video 9[=http//www.pspvideo9.com/]PSP Video 9 (also free)?
Couple this with
Videora [=http//www.videora.com]Videora and you now have the tools need to bring "
Podcasting[=http//searchenterprisevoice.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,290660,sid66_gci1044707,00.html]Podcasting" to your PSP... now being called PSPcasting.
[quote89501d85ad]When combined with another application, Videora + PSP Video 9 form the first PSPcasting solution, allowing you to download, convert and copy video to your PSP, automatically using BitTorrent and RSS technology.[/quote89501d85ad]
Hope you guys enjoy...

I'm using PSPVideo9, and I'm also using Makayama Mobile Media Converter for the PSP. Unfortunately, my 1GB stick hasn't come yet, so I cannot put the movies on.

It sounds useful. I'll have to check it out.... i've got some time since my PSP is still being reviewed. For now, my buddy at work has his (he just bought his 3rd over the weekend... spent over $1000 so far on PSPs for his wife and 10 yr old boy).
