what program should i use to do so? i've tried nero but my trial ended and its pretty annoying. are there any free programs that are decent out there?

get dvd43 (decrypter), then dvd shrink (backup to iso image) then use deepburner to burn the iso image.

I use iTunes to burn CD copies
I think my husband uses DVD shrink for DVD copies. I believe it's a free download.
