random note- a customer service rep for complete home supposedly extended my free membership period for 2 months so that i could receive some extra stuff but i noticed an $8.99 charge on my credit card. the fee is refundable but annoying to deal w/. if you did that too i would call them up to make sure you're not going to get charged.
STILL haven't received my buyers advantage or great fun $20 circuit city cards, though. i've pretty much given up hope on them. bastards.

i assume they're supposed to mail them out during your free trial period b/c it's a sign-up bonus. they say it takes a while for them to be received, though. buyers advantage claims that circuit city handles the mailing of the gift cards. don't know if i believe that. i cancelled about a week ago, 3 days before my trial was up, and still no sign of the cards. i have no idea how great fun handles the mailing of the circuit city cards. i'm still in my trial period for that.
complete home, on the other hand, was great and mailed my lowe's cards really quickly.

Got mine a few days ago.
On another site though when I canceled, they gave me a big offer page to stay witht hem for half price.
So if there is something you wanna keep, try canceling and see if it gives you a better deal. )

Yah, makes no sense to me. Then they gotta pay for shipping so it's pretty much just $10 for one that they are paying. WTF is the point?

I sold mine for around $19 including shipping. If you're a buyer and don't mind the hassle of collecting GCs, saving 5% (or 10% in the case of the other guy who ebayed them) adds up over time.
The guy who got $9.01 for each of them paid for shipping, so the guy who bought them paid 90% of the value, which is a pretty good deal.
Collect enough cards and you save quite a bit, plus, most people know where to get a 10% Lowes coupon, so he's saving effectively 20%, and then combine that with a membership and sales and he does pretty well for his business.
